This is my sixth year at Grand Island Northwest High School, where I teach English 10, Yearbook, Newspaper, Broadcast Journalism, and Photography. I have taught English and Journalism for the past fourteen years; four years ago I initiated a new photography class at Northwest, and two years ago, my colleague Colleen Childers and I created Northwest's first Broadcast Journalism class. I have a Master's Degree in Journalism Education and am currently working on my Masters in Libary and Information Science.
I live in Juniata, Nebraska with my husband of 18 years (an investigator for the Nebraska State Patrol) and our two very spoiled dogs.
