Allison has presented at the Nebraska Educational Technology Association conferences, Nebraska Fall Ed Tech conferences, and has presented at various professional development sessions within Westside Community Schools. Allison was also recognized by PBS as the Lead Digital Innovator for the state of Nebraska in 2017. She is passionate about teaching, supporting teachers as they implement technology into their classrooms, and equipping students with the tech tools to succeed during their formative education and beyond. She also facilitate several family nights each year. She introduced STEAM Night to Oakdale four years ago. Since then, she has incorporated coding nights, nature nights, and Breakout of the classroom family nights. Each year, the interest for STEM, coding, and new family adventures increases, as well as her passion for technology and learning new things!
