Raising Kids in a Flat-Screen World
While technology can add value to life and the educational process, it can also erode relationships and hinder the learning process and social development. Let's explore strategies that will help parents and educators teach children how to be relationally rich in a digital world, use screen time positively, and balance on screen/off screen time. Now is the time to equip children to live ''with'' screen time, not ''for'' screen time.

Get Your Parents Informed!
Most parents know that their kids are on Facebook (because no kid can be without it these days) and possibly Twitter as well. But there are a host of other less well-known services and websites used by teens that are now under scrutiny. School attorney Bobby Truhe will review the social media applications that he sees students using in Nebraska currently and explore the legal issues that arise connected with each of these platforms.
