Conference Meals
Lunch on both days will be on your own. So that you may attend as many sessions as possible, we do not schedule a formal lunch break. Lunch items will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall Concessions. There will be additional “remote” express stations as well.
Social Butterfly Lounge
New at the NETA Conference this year is the Social Butterfly Lounge! Check out this amazing learning space that Steelcase Education has created just for NETA attendees to meet up with fellow educators for face-to- face conversations, tweeting, blogging, or even reflecting. This is your chance to make connections and expand your personal learning network!
Poster/Playground Sessions
On Thursday at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., watch for the gallery of Poster/Playground Sessions in Ballroom B. Poster sessions will be provided by NETA Grant winners from last year, the CenturyLink Teachers and Technology Grant winners, and other educators sharing resources. There will also be playground sessions, allowing you to explore various technology resources with the help of experts. There will be topics of interest for everyone! Stroll freely through the gallery of poster/ playground sessions where presenters will be on hand to answer your questions.
Makerspace Playground
On Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. visit the Makerspace Playground in Ballroom B. You will be able to “play around” at this playground with CEENBot robots, air rockets, drones, 3D printing, wearable technology, Google Glass, Pico & Makey Makey boards, Raspberry Pi, Minecraft, coding and an iOS photobooth. A number of educators will be available in the area to assist and demonstrate how they are using and exploring the featured technologies in their schools.

Leadership Strand
On Thursday in room 215 there will be a strand of sessions for administrators and leaders.
1:1 Strand
Both Thursday and Friday in room 214, there will be a strand of sessions focusing on 1:1 initiatives and all the related issues to consider.
Digital Citizenship Strand
Thursday in room 211, please participate in the digital citizenship strand sessions!
Google Spotlight Strand
Both Thursday and Friday in Junior Ballroom 204, there will be a strand of sessions focusing on Google.
Conversation Strand
Join colleagues for the conversation strand in room 209. Come and learn from the group, not just from one presenter.
NETA Unplugged
Not seeing a session that meets your needs? Make your own session and invite fellow NETA attendees to join the conversation! We have set up an “unplugged” space near the concession stand in the Exhibit Hall. There will be a poster there for you to sign up and facilitate a 30 minute session. Sessions are first come, first serve. After you have proposed your session on the poster, tweet it out using the conference hashtag (#neta15). You can also find a NETA Board member or tweet @yourNETA and we will add it to the conference Sched!
Movin’ and Groovin’: NETA15 INSTAWALK

Join us again for another lighthearted, interactive romp in through the convivial world of Instagram. It’s not so much a photo scavenger hunt, as it is a photo scavenger party! W00t! We invite you to carry out tasks, document all of the fun and learning you find at the conference and share the evidence of your jollity and edification via the Instagram app, using the #NETA15 hashtag. This will

Morning Breaks
Thank you to Adobe Systems, Inc., Apex Learning, Bizco Technologies, CCS Presentation Systems, Follett, IXL Learning, JourneyEd.com Inc., Omaha Communications, and Renaissance Learning for sponsoring our morning coffee breaks. From 9:45– 10:30 each morning, coffee, tea and Danish will be available in the vendor area. Use this time to familiarize yourselves with the wide variety of exhibitors and register for some of their prize give-aways.
Attention Tech Coordinators & Directors!
Tech Coordinators and Tech Support Specialists have a strand of sessions on Thursday and Friday in room 210. There are also many other great technical sessions on the schedule, so you should have sessions to choose from every hour! A special Tech Coordinators Users Group will meet on Thursday, April 23rd beginning at 3:30 p.m. in room 210.
Vendor Exhibits
Thursday 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
The conference schedule will allow plenty of time to visit the vendor exhibit areas. Record numbers of exhibitors will be showing the latest in hardware, software, books and curriculum integration solutions. Watch for special conference pricing and giveaways.
State Education Partner Groups
NETA has partnered with several state education groups (CSTA-Huskers, Nebraska Association for the Gifted, Nebraska International Languages Association, NSBEA/ NBEA, Nebraska School Librarians Association, and Nebraska Writing Project). Please visit their information tables located by the Junior Ballrooms in the Convention Center.
Earn Graduate Credit
Participants who attend both days of the conference
can earn one hour of graduate credit through Peru State College. Tuition rates are as follows: Nebraska Residence— $177.75 per credit hour + applicable fees of $69.25. Non-Residence—$355.50 per credit hour + applicable fees of $69.25. Interested participants will meet briefly with Gregg Robke on Thursday morning at 9:50 outside the Grand Ballroom, directly after the keynote session. Look for a sign: Peru State Registration.
Name Badges
Please wear your name badge at all times as your pass to all sessions and vendor exhibits. NETA board members and volunteers will check participants for badges at all events. Some vendors will be utilizing tracking devices to easily scan the barcode or QR code on your badge to save you time when entering drawings, etc. This information will be shared when your badge is scanned: name, organization, address, phone, and e-mail. Check your name badge sheet carefully! There are tickets for the drawings throughout the conference.
Win! Win! Win!
The conference will conclude on Friday at 3:30 p.m. in Ballroom A with drawings for prizes donated by participat- ing vendors. Don’t miss the drawings for iPad mini’s, NETA Conference Registrations, and Chromebooks! You must be present to win.
