Developing writers benefit from individualized feedback on their work, but it is difficult for teachers to find time to conference with all of their students or write substantial comments on assignments. Screencasting offers teachers a means to give students rich, individualized feedback. This session will report findings from research on screencast comments, discuss the pros and cons of different screencasting apps, and offer suggestions for offering students effective feedback.
